Men, this time for the good.

Really. But you have to wade through a long story to find out why.

Today I was driving to meet DH for lunch (thanks honey but I know you wanted me to bring your tools more LOL). All of the sudden he freeway comes to a DEAD and I mean DEAD stop. Screeching tires and the whole nine yard. I was praying that someone would not hit me or that there would not be a chain reaction somewhere. We sat there for at least 5 minutes and then started inching along and I mean inching. What the heck was going on? An accident, ok. Must be serious no one is moving fast.

So I get to the scene and cars are moving strangely. No actually there is a guy in a one of those orange vest directing traffic and a Expedition smashed on every side and sitting on the passengers side. It looks horrific. Really, Then you hear crying screaming babies. AUGH. I am getting ready to pull over. Babies are crying, I am CPR certified. There are no police, medical anything there. Then I notice that there is someone standing in the car. They are getting the mom out. She was sitting on the passengers side window that is sitting on the freeway. Then you here a shout, I got one of them out. A mans voice. I look to the side of the freeway, there are about 5 work trucks and about 5 men popping out every window on this woman's car. They are working and I mean working to get her out and the babies. I get to see them hand the first toddler to the one of the men standing outside the car in the back. He hugs the toddler. Now I now this is not the dad, he t-shirt matches one of the work trucks. This is just a man. A man that probably saw the whole thing and stopped to help. Him and 4 other men. God Bless them.

I did not end up stopping, it seemed to be under control. The men were there. They had it handled. I really hope that everyone is fine.

But do me a favor, hug your family and your DH (if you have one) because I think most of my friends DH'a would have stopped too.
