Did you miss me?

It seems that life was suppose to slow down. The key word SUPPOSE to. It has not really happened. January has been so busy and the month is almost gone. Where the heck did it go? January 2009 is almost gone. WOW. This month has brought, photo shoots, water polo games, soccer enrollment, PGG learning to ride a bike really well. Menji and PS thinking about a triathlon, scrapbooking but not as much as I would like.

It has also brought renewed friendships, which is funny because you have no idea how much you missed someone that was a part of your life for different phases and parts that no one else knows. It has all been wonderful. I have a dear friend that has all the good and bad parts of my High School years, early marriage and kids. We have reconnected and find the bond is still there. We are a bit older, bit more worn down but still who we are. I really think we are at a much healthier place in our lives and I see us having fun together. We are once again in different parts of our lives. I have a teenager and an almost pre-teen. She has a baby and a almost kindergartner. It is fun for me to watch her and see the joys her kids bring to her.

The photography is going well. almost too well, I am keeping up but barely. I have some pressing deadlines, so will probably disappear again for a bit while I complete jobs. But I am so enjoying it.

Couple of new grey hairs, but I think that come with having a teenage. That and getting older.

So keep checking in because you never know what is going on.

Growing Up

As I type this, Princess Girly Girl has grown up before my eyes. I am so not ready for this to happen.

She is hungry and instead of asking my to warm her up something she, got a bowl out, dished herself some pasta. Put it in the microwave. Pushed all the right buttons got the hot pad out and put it on. Then she took it out of the microwave and started eating.

Normally this would not be a big thing, some of you are asking why is the blog worthy? Because when I looked up I saw a young lady and not a kid. I saw all the thing she is about to become including not needing me as much. We are about to celebrate her 9th birthday and I am not ready. Last year she still looking like a little girl and now, not so much.

*sigh* I am not ready.

Three Months

I belong to a wonderful community of scrapbookers that is thoughtful and caring. When everyone heard Danny was in the hospital, they rallied, sent well wishes, prayed and lifted Donnann and Family up. When the word came down of the worse the outpouring of love was amazing.

I asked for people to send balloons up to the heavens the day of Danny's Funeral. There were many wonderful layouts that came to me. An album was complied. Today in honor of Danny, I share that album. It was a work of love for all that sent in layouts.






























Three Months, We miss you Danny. We also know that you are having lots of fun in Heaven. Keep smiling on us.

Whew, that break is over

Three weeks seems like a long time. The first week is the frenzy where you are getting everything done for Christmas. It seems there is not enough time in that week. Then you clean up and get ready for New Years. That is week two. Week three is just a long week.

I have lots of pictures of how we spent the week however I have not loaded anything. I have been working on pictures from a couple of photoshoots with another scheduled this weekend.

Sp I will catch you up but not all at one time.

This week

This is the last week the girls are off for winter break so we are trying to fit stuff in. Be back in a few days :)

Bringing in 2009

So this is how we brought in the New Year. I can not remember having so much fun. We Rocked the Night away. We ended up kicking the kids off the Wii and taking over. I think we need to plan another night. A Wii night.

We missed two other families that were to join us but due to sickness and church commitments they were not able to attend.
