On my doorstep

So Thursday when I was running around with the girls from Youth Conference, I came home to a nice surprise. But there are no card, so I had to guess. There was really only one person that I has mentioned it to, so it was pretty easy to narrow it down.

See, when I went to SSNA, in February I took a rolling bag with scrapping stuff. In it was my Iris scrapbook paper thingy holder. That was really official. It was completely trashed on the way there. I stuffed all the paper I was going to use in it and stuffed it on my rolling bag. Well that bag must have gotten thrown around. Was I had pieces. Then on the way home after stopping at Stacy's, it was even more cracked. I kinda forgot about it until I went to Sherry's. Then I took it out of my bag and was laughing about how bad it looked. I needed to get a new one because I really liked it.

I kinda forgot about getting a new one until Thursday. There is was, sitting on my porch. It was personalized just for me! I am so excited about it! Even better is that the girls thought it was adorable!!!

Thank you Sherry, I LOVE IT!

One More Thing, Happy Birthday Brooks!

I wish we would have taken the time to take a picture, but this afternoon we rushed from Youth Conference to meet Brooks and Adriana for a nice evening out. We adore them and Brooks is Ricks bestest friend. Well, for Brooks birthday, which guys do not do very well. But we went to join them to see Phantom of the Opera and do dinner at one of Brooks favorite places. It was a blast to hang out with them!

Brooks is the first friend for Ricks that I met and it was SUCH a big deal to Rick for me to meet him while we were dating. It was such a big deal that Rick asked me to change the first time we went to meet up with him. Humph. I also got GRILLED by Brooks. And I mean Grilled! I must have passed cause I married Rick.

Brooks us for a while and it was not the typical, friend living with us, it actually worked, most of the time, EXCEPT for watching TV. I still can not watch TV with Rick and Brooks together.

We were ticked when he met Adriana and adored her from the beginning, she completes him!

So Brooks, we love ya and Happy Birthday!

Weekend fun

So this weekend was youth conference at church for the youth 14-18. What a blast. I am too tired to go into all the details right now but I was say, I love spending time with the youth.

But on Thursday, I came home to a nice surprise on my doorstep. I will post a picture of it tomorrow, cause I still need to take a picture!

Sometimes, I think I am loved

When I got home from work, there are a huge box in the hallway. Of course I glanced at it. It was the Dyson DC17. Dang, I am all about the vacuum. I have another Dyson, have had it for 4 or 5 years. I love that vacuum. It is starting to show some wear and tear. I talked to Rick about getting another vacuum and he aid it was not possible. See, I am obsessed with vacuums. I love them. I have two dogs and a cat, I try not to have it look like we have animals. If I could just get Maggie off the couch when we are gone, you would never know. I also HATE lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs.

So to greatest present that can be given to me is another Dyson. I felt loved, ok for about 2 hours until everyone started picking on me. But for that time, it was wonderful. I vacuumed again, the stairs, the couches, the rugs. Sigh. I also drag the little dyson up the stairs where it will stay put.

So Dh found the way to my heart, the vacuum.

Well, it starts again.

On Friday I got a call from Cowtown Stacy. She has mailed out another copy of the video, so the countdown begins again. So all of you that are on the edge of your seat, it begins again.

Thursday Update

Well, it is STILL not here. Nope, I am posting this from the curb by the mailbox. I have a frind that works at the post office and she is now looking for it. SO Here is sit, still waiting.

I did distract myself a bit by heading to Sherry's house today, she was waiting by the mailbox in support of me. Well not really but that sounded nice, eh.

So, I wait. And you all wait with me.

Sigh :(

THe post office does not like me BECAUSE I AM STILL WAITING. I am still on the edge of my seat, I still have not seen the video.

Still Waiting...

I do not wait well...

The Biggest Loser video has been done for almost a week now. Stacy sent it to me right after that. I am still waiting. I hate waiting. Waiting sucks. I just want to see the video. I have heard it. I called Stacy and listened via the phone, but I WANT TO SEE it.

I hate waiting, my poor mailman it not gonna like me tomorrow, cause then the stalking witll start.

So if you are looking for me, I will be by the mailbox, with my iTouch, waiting.

And waiting.

Woke up this afternoon

Yep this afternoon because I worked until 3 am, had to unwind, then took a nap, got the kids off to school. I then went back to bed and deamed about working out. So I still want it!

I want it bad!

More than anything.

Today Stacy made a huge trip to the post office. She sent off the video for The Biggest Loser. Once I got the confirmation that it was sent it, it hit me, I really really really want this. I am not sure I have ever wanted anything more. I want this like the I want the teal blue banana seat bicycle on Christmas day, want this.

I want more in life to be healthy, I want to be drop dead gorgeous. DH tell me all the time, I am exactly want he wants, I feel beautiful, there is no doubt in that, but I want to be that wife that turns heads, for me, for him, for the girls. Dang, I want this bad.

I watched the episode last night and just watched in awe. I hope and pray that is Stacy and I next season, cause I want it bad!

I STILL HATE DOING LAUNDRY.

Sometimes I think I just need to be mean.

There are lots of instances that I try to be nice instead of being mean. See I used to be a really bitchy person. Then I worked on it and decided that being nice really got you further. Well yes and no, I could completely tell people off and get them so twisted that I got whatever I needed. I did not always walk away feeling the best after that. I tried just being nice and seem to get the same results just felt a ton better after the exchange.

There have been a couple of instances that I am beginning to wonder if being mean would get me some different results, the ones that I am looking for.

I am off but will possibility expand upon my thoughts later.

A cool thing.

So my first goody box arrived from Pebbles, Inc. IN this box was two Circle Journals, pictured above. I love the idea of them. Basically it is a journal for two people and you write back and forth in them. So I gave one to Princess Seriously and one to Princess Girly Girl. PS has taken it to heart. Who would have thought? now I am getting all sorts of tidbits of info and she is getting some of my thoughts back. It is going nicely.

So I think that this is a great concept that can be done with anyone or anything. Try it, you might find out some fun things.

A big day!

In our religion, Baptism happens at 8 year old. March 1st was Princess Girly Girls big day. We had a full house and lots of loved ones joined us. We were are luckily to have dear friends that were at Princess Seriously's baptism. They gave the talks for the service and it was so nice to see them.

PGG was all smiles and proud of the choices that she made to get to this day.

Review of February 2008

It was over way to quickly. Well most of it I was sick so that is probably why. But here is a recap of where I was and what I did during the month.

The beginning of February I was at the CHA show. It is the big Craft show for retailers. This year I went with Pebbles, Inc. again. I love working for them!



Then I came home and was sicker then a dog. Oh really what does that phrase mean? Sicker then a dog? Well whatever it was I was sick and bad. I can not in my life remember ever being laid out flat like that for 5 days. It is a good thing that I love my bed, cause that is where I stayed. Maggie, the dog, was my company, Princess Seriously one day handled me all by herself and I am so grateful for her and that she kept a steady flow of hot tea, ice and broth. Poor kid. I am happy to report that no one else in the family got sick. But the bad part is that I had to cancel Rick's and Princess Girly Girls birthday party. Poor them!

PGG's birthday party was rescheduled for the following Wednesday evening. We have hit the big EIGHT!



The next morning I was off. Still not feeling 100% mind you, but I was going to the retreat and gonna have fun.


I will say the first night, I drank a little too much cough syrup. I did not have a measuring cup. I thnk I drank too much, but I slept really good. It was a fun filled weekend and I had a blast. I got to meet a few people that I have chatted with for years but not met in person. What a ball!

After that I was off to Texas. A few day with Stacy was in order and that was exciting. We had decided to audition for The Biggest Loser and needed to get some video tape and pictures.

About The Biggest Loser, I believe this is meant to be. It all fell together too quickly. I was already schedule to be out to see Stacy. Dale the guy shooting the video, was ready to do the video. We had a blast and I just had to come home and do my part. Stacy now has it. Wish us luck!

We also managed to to have a girls night out. That was a blast. Cara, Kristy, Stacy and I had some real mexican food, played some pool and giggled endlessly. WooHoo!
