Did I tell you all that Poor Princess Seriously got suckered into becoming a referee for Princess Girly Girls team to earn extra points. It seems that year there were not enough volunteers for anything so the league decided to be really super strict about how the teams would get points to get to the playoffs. SO basically your team can completely suck and get in based off volunteer points. That is great for PGG's team cause they have a ton of new players on her team. So why PS? At the time of sign ups I was still working. So PS was kind enough to do this for her.
So after a class, a couple of tests and so training, it was time. Up and out the door by 7:15 on a Saturday morning. Augh that was early. Princess Seriously received her shirt, her whistle and her flags. She was assigned to a great head referee that was wiling to teach her lots.
She even got to yell at a few parents that would not move off the sidelines. At first she was being really nice to them but after repeated asking them to please move, she could not take it anymore. She put her best voice on and yelled, if you do not stay off the actual SIDELINE I will be tell you to leave your childs game. Wow she did not have any more problems after that.
She did ref a second game because they were so short on referees. It did mean she missed her sisters game but she got them extra points. She looked so official because we had a credit at the local sports store so we went an picked up the black socks and cleats for her. She felt so much more official.

I think it's great and no surprise that she is doing this. I like her even more. =]
