One year ago I was doing laundry from our Arizona trip. We slept in because the the girls were off track. We were having a lazy day. Nothing was out of the ordinary. We had plans to go to the grocery store and finish the laundry.
We went to the grocery store, with 5 minutes left on the dryer. We came home to a house on fire.
As I look back over this last year and all the things that happened, I am so grateful to be home. There is nothing like home. I love my home. I love the colors, I love that it is mine.
So don't leave your dryer on (and mine was a motor malfunction, not a lint problem) when you leave the house. Don't leave you dryer on while you sleep at night. Yeah I know you will never be caught up with laundry again but please do it for me.
But remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel for whatever you may be going through.
