Weekend Recap

Some might say I lost my mind. I think I found it again but for a brief moment it is possible that I did indeed lose it.

Did you tremble? I did and I was the one that took them. PS and her Bestie (that is her word not mine) came with me to the Apple store and then that turned into, can we go here and here? Two things on the list flip flops and shorts. PS found the flip flops at a great deal I might say. I have rubbed off on her a bit. A gift card and a sale. Woo Hoo! 6 pairs for her. She was also looking for other tops but the cheap, baragin deal gene rubbed off on her too. I mean we are talking about the girl who had designer jeans and had never paid more the 3 dollars for them. I tell you that kid and jeans, it is amazing what she can do. Bestie found a cute pair of black shorts and all was right in the world.

We stopped to refresh at Wendy's. I still think Bestie was in shock that she found a killer pair of shorts at an awesome price thanks to PS. I think she will want to shop with us more often.

So Bestie and PS came to hang back out at the house and had dinner, movie and rock band. I think poor Bestie was in shock about having dinner as a family. Sometimes my girls forget that the rest of the world may not eat as a family. I know PGG does freak out when she hears about kids having dinner in front of the TV or in their rooms. But I am the mean mom that makes everyone sit at the dinner table. Menji asks everyone what did they do in the world today to make a difference and then dinner conversation takes off from there. I suppose to an outsider this could all be very strange.
