I am just speechless. There are things that just make me do a double take. Today was one of them. I am not even sure where to begin. Sometimes people just need to do what they say then I don't have to be a rule enforcer. Then when I do have to enforce a rule, it is all ok that I am that person. But if I make a decision that is good for the good of the team then I am out of line. Because you did not get your say. Humph.
I could say to the person, I am sorry that your home life sucks but could you not take it out on me that you have no one the boss around and you think that if I do not run every single thing by you then you are not going to die. It is always for the good of the team. Always. Nothing I do is for a benefit for anyone but the team. Plus you were not around when the decision had to be made. Get over it.
But, I will not say that, because I have decided it is NOT worth the headache. I am done. Sad but true. I will do what I said but then, I am done, nothing is worth that much agony. So after this weekend, I am just a normal parent, hanging out waiting for my child. Good luck with everything you have to do.

I agree: "Good for you for just stepping back". For you it's swimming, for me it's hockey. The +/- is never in the favour of the one doing the job. Better to be done. In the meantime, I'm sending plenty of (((hugs)))!
